Getting Started — list, search, trade
What is onlytems
onlytems is a trade information platform for trading Diablo IV in-game equipment, materials, runes, gems, charms, and Horadric seals. The operator only provides a place and the information to list, search, and connect listings; the actual item handover and gold settlement happen directly between the trading parties inside the game. In other words, onlytems itself never holds items or processes payments.
Trades are priced in gold (the in-game currency), and the tradable types are equipment, materials, runes, gems, charms, and Horadric seals. Each type has different tradable grades and input methods, so the detailed rules are covered in the per-type guides.
Start with Battle.net sign-in
Using the service starts with authenticating a Battle.net account. Once verified, you can use features such as listing items, sending and receiving offers (bids), checking trade history and notifications, and leaving reviews. The item info page can be viewed without logging in, so you can browse which grades and options are traded before signing up.
Other traders are identified by nickname, and the actual in-game trade uses BattleTags. Your trade history keeps the other party’s nickname, which becomes a reference for trading with the same person again or for cross-checking if a problem arises.
How to list an item
Listing starts by choosing a trade type (equipment, material, rune, gem, charm, or seal). Selecting a type opens the matching input form, where you enter the item itself (grade, slot, kind, and so on), its options, quantity, price, and sale method in turn. When the inputs are done, you submit the listing.
When you submit, the form checks the required inputs. For example, equipment must have the number of option lines that matches its grade, and quantity trades (materials, runes, gems) must keep the quantity and price within the in-game holding limit. If a check fails, you are told which item still needs to be filled in.
Choosing a sale method
When listing, you choose one of three sale methods. Free Offer means the seller posts a base price and buyers freely send offers above or below it. Fixed Price means trading only at the price the seller set, and Accept Offers means listing without a price and collecting buyers’ offers.
Prices are entered in gold, and the base price unit is a minimum of 1,000,000 gold. A trade’s total cannot exceed the in-game gold cap of 999,999,999,999 gold, and in quantity trades the per-unit price times the count is automatically clamped so it never exceeds this cap. The maximum stack size is 9,999.
Auto-fill options with image analysis (OCR)
For items with many options, such as equipment, uploading a game screenshot lets the image analysis feature read the options automatically and fill them into the form. You can provide the image by dragging and dropping a file onto the page, pasting a captured image (Ctrl+V), or selecting a file from your device with the button. Image analysis uses a little more mana than entering the options by hand, but it greatly reduces the typing effort.
Auto-recognition is convenient but not perfect. Option names or values can be misread, so review the result and correct anything that differs from your game screen before submitting. Accurate listing information is directly tied to trust in the trade.
Searching and making offers
On the search page you can narrow listings by trade type, grade, option conditions, and quantity range. It is better to set only the conditions you truly need. Too many conditions shrink the pool of matching listings, so it is more efficient to search broadly with one or two key options and then compare within the results.
When you find a listing you want, recheck the price and options on the order detail page and send an offer. For a Free Offer listing you propose your desired price; for a Fixed Price listing you trade at the posted price. Offers you have sent or received can be checked in trade history and notifications.
After a trade is agreed
When an offer is accepted and the trade is agreed, the actual item and gold are exchanged inside the game in the agreed manner. Since onlytems only provides connection and information, the parties must clearly agree on the time, place, and method of the trade. After the trade, we recommend leaving a review so that other users can refer to the other party’s trustworthiness.
